Spacemaker Advances Major Modular Projects Across the Kingdom

Spacemaker has started 2026 with strong momentum through several major modular construction projects across the Kingdom, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for large-scale developments.

Tahakom Project
Spacemaker is currently constructing and installing three modular operation centers in Dammam, Makkah and Riyadh. Each facility will serve as a centralized hub supporting real-time monitoring, surveillance systems and integrated operational management. The project involves approximately 327 modules across the three buildings and is scheduled for completion within six months.

Qiddiya Project
Spacemaker is also manufacturing and delivering 21 prefabricated modular units for the Qiddiya staff accommodation project in Riyadh, supporting operational personnel for the Six Flags entertainment park. The project is expected to be completed within one year and the first modular unit has already been successfully delivered to the project site.

SILZ Project
Spacemaker has completed the design, fabrication, supply and installation of four modular units for the SILZ project in Riyadh. The scope included project management offices and operational facilities delivered using advanced modular construction solutions to meet operational requirements while maintaining efficiency and project timelines.

Namma Cargo Operates iHerb Regional Distribution Center in Saudi Arabia

Namma Cargo Services has begun operations at the iHerb Global Distribution Center in Saudi Arabia following its official inauguration. The project marks a major step in establishing the Kingdom as a regional hub for e-commerce fulfillment.

Nesma invested in the development and construction of the facility, while Namma Cargo jointly operates the distribution center with CJ Logistics, managing middle-mile logistics and warehouse operations. The fully automated fulfillment center operates 24/7 with an optimized capacity of up to 35,000 packages per day, serving markets across the Middle East and other international regions.

Nesma United Industries Signs Strategic O&M Framework Agreement for King Salman International Airport

In a milestone that further strengthens NUI’s role in the Kingdom’s major transformational projects, Nesma United Industries has signed a two-year master framework agreement to deliver operation and maintenance services for King Salman International Airport.

The agreement will support critical operational activities across the airport’s expanding infrastructure. Located in Riyadh, the airport is planned to span approximately 57 square kilometers and feature six parallel runways, with a target capacity of up to 120 million passengers annually by 2030—positioning it among the largest airports in the world and a major global aviation hub supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.

This agreement marks an important step in reinforcing NUI’s position as a trusted operational partner in high-performance environments, while reflecting continued confidence in its technical expertise and service capabilities.

NIT Secures 132kV Cable Replacement Contract with SEC

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology (NIT) has signed a contract with Saudi Electricity
Company to replace 132kV underground cable circuits in the Central Operating Area.


Valued at over SAR 160 million, the 24-month project includes engineering, procurement
and construction works in line with SEC standards.

Nesma Orbit Expands with New Showroom and Major Supply Agreement

Nesma Orbit has opened a new flagship showroom in Rawdah District, Jeddah, featuring
premium porcelain tiles, natural stones and sanitary fixtures. A grand opening is planned
after Ramadan.
In Riyadh, the company secured a partnership with Fidwah Company to supply over
10,000 square meters of porcelain tiles for the Jarir Headquarters Tower, with 6,000
square meters already delivered to support the construction schedule.

Namma Cargo Delivers Complex Project Shipments
Feb 2026

Namma Cargo Services Co. Ltd., Al Khobar Branch, successfully completed two major
project cargo operations, highlighting its heavy-lift expertise.
In Jubail, the team transported an 18.25-meter, 52-ton NG Saturator to Al Razi Plant within
one day, managing all required permits and special transport arrangements. In Dammam,
Namma Cargo handled the clearance and delivery of 48 ODC reels to the Fadhili Gas
Project, completing the operation safely despite challenging conditions.

Nesma Holding Recognized for Jubail–Buraydah Water Project

The Jubail–Buraydah Independent Water Transmission Project, developed with Nesma’s participation, has been awarded the 2025 Middle East and Africa PPP Deal of the Year by PFI. The recognition highlights the project’s strategic importance, innovative financing structure and contribution to strengthening regional water infrastructure, marking a significant industry-led achievement for Nesma and the project team.

 

NIT Secures Two Major SEC Contracts in Jubail

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology (NIT) has secured two major contracts with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) in Jubail, with a combined value exceeding SAR 1.48 billion.

The projects cover the replacement of Jubail North and Jubail Southeast high-voltage substations, including associated transmission works, supporting grid reliability and capacity upgrades in one of the Kingdom’s key industrial regions and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.

NIT Signs New Contract with SEC (National Grid SA)

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology (NIT) has signed a new contract with SEC (National Grid SA), valued at approximately 150 million SAR, for the construction of two 380kV double-circuit overhead transmission lines. 

This project comes as part of our ongoing efforts to support the development of the Kingdom’s energy infrastructure and to enable its renewable energy goal.

NUI Awarded Strategic Security Projects with Aramco

As part of its ongoing partnership with Aramco, Nesma United Industries (NUI) has launched three strategic projects through its Technical Systems Division, aimed at strengthening the Kingdom’s security infrastructure.

The first phase involves a 15–36 month implementation of integrated security systems across key operational sites in the western,
northern and southern regions, covering surveillance, detection, vehicle recognition, fencing, lighting and specialized security buildings.

These projects reinforce NUI’s role in developing advanced, reliable and efficient security infrastructure that safeguards critical facilities and ensures seamless operations.

Play Cinemas Opens New Branch at Amwaj Mall, Dhahran

Play Cinemas celebrated the opening of its new branch at Amwaj Mall, Dhahran, with an event inaugurated by Mr. Khaled Jafar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner. Attended by around 100 guests, including partners, media and influencers, the event received positive feedback for its modern design and welcoming atmosphere.

The new branch reflects Play Cinemas’ ongoing expansion, with upcoming locations in Dammam, Al Kharj, Al Ahsa, Yanbu and Al Madinah.

Nesma Achieves Financial Close for the Jubail–Buraydah Independent Water Transmission Pipeline Project

Nesma, in partnership with Aljomaih Energy & Water Company and Buhur for Investment Company, has achieved financial close for the Jubail–Buraydah Independent Water Transmission Pipeline Project.

One of Saudi Arabia’s most significant water transmission projects, it will deliver desalinated water from Jubail to Al-Qassim through a 587 km pipeline with a capacity of 650,000 m³ per day. Developed under the Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model, the project is scheduled to commence commercial operations in Q2 2029 and features reverse pumping capabilities to enhance efficiency and support economic growth in the Al-Qassim region.

Nesma Renewable Energy Achieves Global Milestone in Al-Dawadmi Wind Project

Nesma Renewable Energy is proud to announce a new global milestone achieved in partnership with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and EtihadWE, setting a world record for the lowest cost of electricity generation from wind energy through the Al-Dawadmi Wind Project in Riyadh, with a total capacity of 1,500 MW.

The project was awarded by the Saudi Power Procurement Company (Principal Buyer) as part of the sixth round of the National Renewable Energy Program, marking a significant step in advancing the Kingdom’s renewable energy ambitions.

This milestone underscores Nesma Renewable Energy’s strong commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s transition toward clean and sustainable energy and contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.

NIT Achieves 3.5 Million Safe Man-Hours

Nesma Infrastructure and Technology (NIT) achieved 3.5 million safe person-hours without any Lost Time Injuries (LTI) in the Upgrade Fire Protection & Industrial Drainage System Project. In recognition of this milestone, the company also received the HSE Excellence Achievement Award from Aramco, reflecting its strong commitment to team safety and excellence in safety management.

NIT Signs New Contracts with Saudi Electricity Company

Nesma Infrastructure and Technology (NIT) has signed a new contract with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for the 230 kV and 115 kV Interties Project in the Eastern Operating Area, Jubail. The project, valued at over SAR 340 million, is scheduled for completion in approximately 19 months.

In addition, the company secured a contract with SEC for the installation of a 33 kV switchgear room at Al-Baha CPS Substation and the re-conductoring of the existing line between Namera North s/s and Mikwah s/s in the Tihamah region, valued at over SAR 135 million, with an 18-month delivery timeline.

Another contract covers the construction of Jubail Community (7AB) 230/115 kV BSP and integration of 230 kV transmission lines in Jubail. Valued at over SAR 445 million, this project includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing & Commissioning and Energization on a lump sum turnkey basis, with a 20-month timeline.

NIT Signs New Contract with King Fahd Causeway Authority

Nesma Infrastructure and Technology (NIT) has signed a contract with the King Fahd Causeway Authority to increase the electrical power of the King Fahd Causeway. The project is valued at over SAR 172 million and is scheduled for completion in approximately 18 months.

Nesma Water & Energy Wins Tabuk Wastewater Project

Nesma Water & Energy (NW&E) has been awarded the operation and maintenance of five wastewater treatment plants in the Tabuk region by the National Water Company (NWC). Scheduled from October 2025 to September 2028, the project engages 120 professionals and is valued at SAR 31.9 million. It reinforces Nesma Water & Energy’s commitment to sustainable water management and environmental compliance.

Nesma Catering at the Saudi National Day

Nesma Catering proudly played a central role in Saudi National Day celebrations across NEOM’s Oxagon and The Hive. The team worked closely with the client to plan and execute a creative catering experience featuring signature Saudi dishes, themed refreshment trolleys, and traditional touches, such as dates, mamoul, and Saudi coffee. Over 200 colleagues contributed to delivering a festive menu that showcased the richness of Saudi cuisine, featuring dishes such as Camel Kabsa and Chicken Saliq, as well as traditional desserts and drinks inspired by the national flag. The celebration brought together Saudi and international guests in a spirit of unity, culture, and excellence, with the team’s efforts recognized in NEOM’s special Saudi National Day newsletter.

Modern Bus Company Completes Jamarat Operation

Modern Bus Company used 100 buses over three days to transport over 250,000 pilgrims between Jamarat and Haram during the Hajj. Supported by other teams, the Service Delivery department managed crowd flow and operations efficiently under challenging conditions. This was MBCO’s first large-scale operation, providing valuable lessons for future Hajj services.
