We firmly believe that a culture of accountability, unity, and transparency results in a trusted reputation. This is why we have a well-established Board, Advisory Board, and Board Committee structure, the Nesma Code of Conduct, a comprehensive anti-corruption practice, and a diversity and inclusion policy. These are constantly improved to manage risks and safeguard people’s well-being.

Responsible business practices also shape how we create positive private sector impact.

Nesma is a Pearl Initiative partner, embracing this regional organization’s mission of good governance, transparency, and accountability for businesses in the Gulf.

We have also partnered with Qaderoon Business Disability Network, Nesma endorses and supports its main goal of providing educational and employment opportunities for the disabled to endorse and support its main goal of providing people with disabilities with educational and employment opportunities.

Nesma boards

Nesma’s leadership structure consists of a Board of Directors, an Advisory Board, and Board Committees, namely Audit and Risk, and Nomination, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee. Members comprise independent and executive directors.

Faisal Al-Turki
President of Nesma and Chairman of the Board

Faisal Al-Turki is the President of Nesma and Chairman of the Board. He also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board and as a Board Member of several Nesma companies. He previously oversaw the company’s expansion into aviation and travel, renewable energy and public transportation.
Al-Turki holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, with a double major in Sociology and Public and Private Sector Organizations, as well as a master’s degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Noura Al-Turki
Vice President and Board Member

Noura Al-Turki is Vice President and a Board Member of Nesma. She also serves on the boards and committees of several subsidiary companies. She plays an active role in strengthening corporate governance through her membership in the Audit and Risk, Nomination and Remuneration, and Governance Committees. She has also served on the boards of several public-sector entities, contributing to the advancement of transparency and accountability.
Al-Turki leads Namat, Nesma’s social initiative and a leading example of the company’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Today, the initiative employs more than 150 people and supports the integration of women living outside major urban centers into the national economy, reflecting the potential of the “Made in Saudi” vision.
Before joining Nesma, Al-Turki served as Vice President of the Saudi Shooting Federation from 2018 to 2021. She also worked at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she led research and development initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship at the Khadijah bint Khuwaylid Center for Businesswomen.
Al-Turki holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University, a Master of Science in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford, and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom.

Abdullah Al-Shahrani
Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Board Member

Abdullah Al-Shahrani is Vice President of Corporate Affairs and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience at Nesma.
Al-Shahrani oversees the performance of all Nesma Group companies while also serving as Chief Executive Officer of Nesma Real Estate. He is a Board Member of Nesma and serves on the boards and committees of several of its subsidiaries.
Al-Shahrani holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia.

Naif Al-Abeedi
Chief Executive Officer, Nesma United Industries, Board Member

Naif Al-Abeedi is the Chief Executive Officer of Nesma United Industries. He also serves as a Board Member of Nesma Co. Ltd. and Nesma Water & Energy.
Before assuming his current role, Al-Abeedi held several leadership positions, including General Manager of Nesma Co. Ltd., Chief Executive Officer of Nesma Real Estate and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Mawaddah Hotels International Group. He also chaired the Ethics Committee and served as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee at Nesma & Partners, in addition to serving on the boards and committees of several Nesma companies.
Al-Abeedi holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Abdulaziz University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom.

Mahmoud Y. Fallatah
CEO Nesma Water And Energy, Member of The Advisory Board

Mahmoud Y. Fallatah is CEO and Managing Director of Nesma Water and Energy, which he established as a subsidiary of Nesma. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Nesma.

Fallatah holds a bachelor’s degree in applied Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and an executive management diploma from the University of North Carolina.

Fouad J. Alsherebi
Chairman of the Advisory Board, Executive Chairman of the Makkah Public Transport Bus Project

Fouad J. Alsherebi is Chairman of the Nesma Advisory Board and Executive Chairman of the Makkah Public Transport Bus Project (Modern Bus Co. Ltd.). He is also Chairman of Nesma Projects Company Limited and Nesma Infrastructure and Technology, as well as Chairman of Nesmal Yatrim Turkey.

Alsherebi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, San Luis Obispo.

Salah S. Al-Sunaid
CEO Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, Member of The Advisory Board

Salah S. Al-Sunaid is CEO of Nesma Infrastructure and Technology and a member of the Advisory Board of Nesma. He also served on the board of Nesma TATA Projects Limited and is currently on the supervisory board of Koncar Electrical Equipment, Croatia.

Al-Sunaid holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton, Ohio. He is a Harvard Business School alumnus.

Juan José Güemes
Member of The Advisory Board

Juan José Güemes is an Advisory Board Member of Nesma. He has held key roles at IE University in Madrid, including Chairman of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Vice President of Economic Affairs. His political career includes serving as Spain’s Secretary-General for Tourism, where he was responsible for promoting the country as an international tourist destination.
Güemes holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Universidad Complutense, Madrid, and a master’s degree in financial markets from Universidad San Pablo CEU, Madrid.

Jeffrey Char
Member of the Advisory Board

Jeffrey Char is an Advisory Board Member of Nesma. He has founded, advised, and collaborated with organizations operating across various industry sectors and in multiple countries, including Japan, Singapore, the United States, Cambodia, and Spain.

Highlights from his career include founding a venture incubator company in Tokyo for entrepreneurs, serving as an advisor to Japan's second-largest petroleum company, teaching graduate courses on entrepreneurship at leading business schools in Japan, Spain, and Cambodia, and founding an online renewable energy retailer to accelerate the widespread adoption of solar power in Japan.

Yousef Al-Salmi
Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, Board Member

Yousef Al-Salmi is the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Nesma, with more than 18 years of leadership experience in commerce and business. He leads strategic initiatives and corporate transformation programs, contributing to sustainable growth and business development across the Group.
As part of his current responsibilities, Eng. Al-Salmi serves on the boards of several Group companies, including Nesma Co. Ltd., Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, Air Arabia DMM, Mawaddah International Group for Hotel and Umrah Services, Noor South Jeddah Power Plant and Western Pearl Company.
Previously, Al-Salmi served as Chief Commercial Officer of Nesma Airlines. He was also appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of both Nesma United, which operates Jollibee and Chowking, and Mawaddah International Group for Hotel and Umrah Services. In addition to his current responsibilities, he currently serves as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Namma Cargo.
Earlier in his career, Al-Salmi held several leadership positions at the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia.
Eng. Al-Salmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from King Abdulaziz University. He has also completed several advanced executive programs, including a specialization in strategy from Harvard University, as well as executive programs in leadership and strategic planning.
