Saleh Ali Al-Turki is the President and Chairman of Nesma Holding Company (www.nesma.com), a privately owned Saudi Arabian company that maintains a varied business portfolio in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Egypt and Turkey. These companies operate in multiple sectors including: construction; power and electrical; oil and gas; real estate and property management; hospitality and tourism; operation and maintenance; port, marine and shipping services; aviation and logistics; and telecommunication and IT.
He is Chairman of Jeddah Holding Company and Saudi Foras Investment Company, as well as a Director of the Board for Arab Poultry Breeders Company (Ommat) and ReAya Holding. He also sits on the Coutts Middle East Advisory Board and, since 2013, as a member of the Investment Advisory Council for Turkey, aimed at improving Turkey's investment environment and attracting foreign investors.
Mr. Al-Turki is Chairman of Tarahom Society for the Care of Prisoners the Al-Birr Society (Jeddah), and has previously held trusted positions such as Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, as well as Vice Chair of the Neighborhood Centers Society. He is a previous member of the Consultative Council (Makkah Region) and chaired its social development committee.
In the education field, he supports major educational institutions in Saudi Arabia, namely as a member of the Endowment fund of King Abdulaziz University; a member of the Board of Trustees of both the University of Business and Technology (UBT) and Dar Al-Hekma University; and a Board Member of Al-Bayan Educational Foundation, which owns and manages several colleges in Madinah. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of Effat University and the Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI) at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology.
In 2010, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria. In 2011, the Saudi Ministry of Social Affairs honored him as one of the most important supporters of social work. He is also a recipient of the King Salman Award for the Support of Young Entrepreneurs and the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Award for Service of Charitable Activities.
Mr. Al-Turki has a BA in Public Administration from the American University of Beirut and an MA in Public Administration from California State University. He lives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
