Nesma Spares No Expense To Finish Emergency Project
DATE - 08/2011: The largest airplane carrier in the world, the Antonov 225, landed in Jeddah's International Airport, carrying onboard necessary equipment that Nesma Holding Co. Ltd. transported in order to help with its Jeddah Stormwater Drainage project. Sparing no expense, Nesma also transported equipment via two 747 flights & an Ocean Carrier, bringing the total equipment used in the Jeddah Stormwater Drainage project to 1,200 units which includes excavators, bobcats & state-of-the-art sewer flushing & suction vehicles - the first of its kind to be used in KSA.
Jeddah Stormwater Drainage project is scheduled to be completed in the middle of November, 2011 & is the first step of a long term solution to bring Jeddah's infrastructure to world-class standards.
